Ive spent a few moments(dont have too many) looking for info on Intel's native eight core desktop CPU.

Im getting a mixed bag of info.

Can someone give me a very brief specs/when the Native or dual dice?

Except those links are for i7, which is a the native quad + HT.

At this point theres no public info on a native octo core for desktops. Theres some info on Beckton, which is native octo based on nehalem, but its not known to be planned for LGA1366 (the desktop and dual socket) socket.

Westmere may have 6 core variants for desktop use, but thats not for another year and the 32nm process.
