I honestly dont know where this would be better posted at, but im going to say here, but if itsnt in the right place, please move it.

Once the 590 comes out for Intel I plan on getting at motherboard based on it, preferably one by DFI. I will be running my 630 on it for about a year or so. Right now I have it overclocked to a 275FSB. Im hoping to achieve this on the 590 also or something really close.

My quesiton is, are the 7900GT's going to bottleneck the CPU? I will be also getting a new monitor soon and either plan on getting one at a 1280x1024res or higher. Might be getting a widescreen one at 1680x1050. Im guessing they wont bottleneck my CPU, but I just want to make sure.

Not that it matters I mostly plan on playing Oblivion, UT2007, Quake Wars, and Crysis on it. I will be upgrading to Core 2 probably around the end of 2007. Going to stick it out that long.

590 for intel was cancelled. They are moving straight to C55 MCPs in 07

Shit, really? So the only way to get SLI on my 7900GTs is go with a nForce 4 based motherboard, possibly that one Asus released that does support Core 2?

that's an NF570//NF590. It's the Asus P5N32-SLI deluxe SE << most important part is the SE ebcause it separates the NF5 from Nf4.

Nope that's nf4 chipset in p5n32-sli SE. Nf570 is only in P5N SLI (which seems to overclock just as badly but comes at half the price)

.
Nope, the only difference is that the SE has Core 2 Duo support.

if they overclock badly from 266Mhz FSB to "only" 300+ FSB, thats not bad for him with his current (630) processor. He could still overclock the 630 well. Now, when he switches to a 6x00 Conroe, he could be limited. But if he holds off on the processor until the 4300 comes out he'll be in the same situation again with a 200FSB stock processor with maybe a 50%+- OC possible.

is it NF4? lol. I thought it was NF5 cause everyone was so confused as to what chipset it was, but guess not.
