i'm upgrading my computer soon and plan on buying the Asus A8N5X motherboard, which comes with integrated 8 channel Realtek ALC850 audio. i have a sound blaster live 5.1 card right now, and i'm wondering which one be a better audio solution? i am a gamer so framerates are important to me if that means anything. i use headphones when i game so surround sound is not important to me, but sound quality is.
 
If sound quality is important to you, then neither are likely going to be good.

For reference, I've heard the SB Live! a long time ago --> no good.
