sorry, gotta newbie question here. Im planning on installing a sound card into my computer. First time im doing this. I imagine it's just like installing a graphic card, right?

Since this is the first sound card im putting into my PC, do I have to first deactivate the onbaord sound device inorder to get the sound card to work?

Im planning on buying the Audigy SE.
