Alright, I just installed my Western Digital 7200RPM 120GB Hard Drive. Previously, I have been running Windows on my Western Digital 74GB Raptor. \

Windows recognized the new hardware... but it doesn't show up when I click on My Computer. It shows up in the BIOS and in the device manager.

Basically I need to know how I can set it up so I can start saving to it.

Thanks for your time and consideration!!

You need to format, and assign it a drive letter through computer management.

Yeah, if you don't bother to put the drive in a format the computer unstands and can work with, it's not going to work.

needs a partition and then a file system.. use windows disk management, or partition magic or something similar (fidsk will work if you need it right away)
