Installing ahardware after ESXi install?

Hi, I nearly finished my installation of the new server for ESXi. I still need to learn, but following many tutorials and videos at the moment.

Because I already want to do some stuff.. I was wondering if I can add hardware after the installation?

The hardware it is about is a DELL PERC 6/i card (which is supported), 4x WE RED drives and a mSATA + a SATA -> mpcie adapter for the mSATA drive.

It's mostly to start playing before the stuff is in, since the drives have a long delivery time. Add the hardware later, without having to reinstall ESXi again. (Installed on an internal usb stick)
