So is this Indigo Xtreme something you guys would use as the TIM for a waterblock and AM3 socket cpu?

I would like to know if any of you [H] users that have used it report good temps and easy setups. This stuff used to be expensive and just dropped in price recently to my knowledge.

I'm looking into using it when the new top chip from amd comes out, at least I can leave it on there until the next major upgrade.
 
never heard of it, but may be worth a try.. if you do report back what it does, i'm sure there would be some people interested in the numbers.. because i sure would.
 
It is supposed to be the best out there. It just had one huge problem, the price. It is a liquid metal sticker that is used once, I am not sure if you can even reseat on it or not.
 
While it is the best available TIM, I'd still consider it overly expensive, and you had better install it correctly. Read around a bit, read the instructions carefully, and then go ahead... or you will have wasted close to $10 (per application) :(

And: Has the price come down? You link shows $19... I remember $20... heh...wth :confused:

His results are divided into 3 separate tiers of thermal contact quality - I'd assume that you'd have at least average quality.

Based on Skinnee's testing, I'm more impressed by the PK-1 paste.
 
The indigo xtreme is not compatible with all heat sinks due to the plastic "card" it resides on. You should check their website for heatsink compatibility.

yeah, me too ive never heard of it until looking at this thread if i would of known about it i would of tried it.
