Hello i have a shuttle SN45G with the nforce 2 ultra 400 chipset.
There is the option in the bios to increase FSB.
I was wondering how high can i increase this number so that i can get higher performance. Right now its 166mhz.

Specs
Shuttle SN45G
AMD Athlon XP 3000+ 333fsb (166mhz x 13)
2 x 512 MB Corsair XMS PC3200
Radeon 9800 Pro
maxtor 120gig
stock i.c.e. shuttle cooling heatsink
Win xp pro

i dont mind leaving case open while computer on and i dont mind the sound if i turn the fan on full.

Well, you can never predict how well you can overclock. Try small increments and see if the system boots. Then keep increasing it until the system fails to boot, or it reaches a point you're satisfied with. Then you have to test the system to see how hot it will get at full load, and if it can handle the higher speeds without giving you a bunch of errors.

However, since we're talking about a shuttle, you shouldn't be trying to push that system too much I would say.
