Inbox need help ASAP....

Well i have no idea what just happened. But this is what i done. I had a large amount of inbox messeges, bought and sold. So i decided to make a new folder called bought and sold. Well that went fine so i clicked all the messeges and hit move to the new folder i just made.

All said moved fine and showed them in the new folder i made, so i clicked delete all in in the inbox and now i have no messeges in my saved folder either. Have i lost everything i had now? As i don't even understand how it would delete the new folder messeges i even made to start with.

Can i get these back or is everthing lost for good now?

I can see your PM stats only, not your folders or messages...you are showing 100 messages in your out box and nothing else. Something is still there, just can't tell what.

Sent 100
Bought and Sold 0

Just plain odd how this happened though.

When you moved the messages you have to finalize the move by hitting 'go' for the transfer to take place. All of the boxes have to be checked that you wish to move. If either of these steps are not completed and then you delete the remainder, they are gone and unrecoverable.
 
Oh well, I figured Hardop had a database backup and could restore it. They was moved like i stated and did show in the new folder, so that is why i deleted them out the main inbox and after that was done they all was gone. But thanks for the help.

Yes, we back up every 12 hours but we are not going to roll the database back to restore your inbox, I am sorry.
 
Could we possibly get a trashcan added? So when we delete stuff or something goes wrong we have a option to return it. That would be a lot of help right there.Thanks again for all the help.

If the messages are so valuable I suggest you back them up to your own hard drive with one of the few options that have been provided to you for years now.
 
Yea i will look into that, if i knew i was going to lose them i would have though. The trashcan was just a option you could restore something if something you deleted and you wanted it back. Just another bad luck day. Lesson learned though, if you want to keep something back it up.
