ok, so im building a system for a guy, and I pretty much have the choice of building it with my mobo CPU and GPU. (DFI UT, a64 3000+, 6800GT) or build it with new componets...I will be getting just about full retail price for my stuff (lucky me hua?)

im feeling a bit lost because i cant bring myself to upgrade to anything??? there are no PCI-X 6800GTs i can buy that are price well(<$400.00)...in not spending $500 on a GT because there price gougeing them due to SLI comming out. Therefore im stuck with a AGP 6800GT....PCI Xpress mobos are too much $$ to add to that...If i could find a good priced GT PCI-X..id get it and get a non SLI (ultra) Nforce4.....

so, the next idea i have to to keep the GT and jump to s939! but, there lineup of s939 overclocking board is somewhat lacking...when carrying the expections of the DFI s754 board....and really my s754 setup has been 100% stabel at 2.62Ghz....i dont think im gonna get a s939 system running this fast...

im soo lost....i dont want to pass this upgrade oppertunity by...but theres nothign i can really do..
 
if you can't really see anything you want to upgrade to, then build the other guys computer with new parts. Before long the parts you want will be available at a good price, ready for you to use and enjoy.
Anyway, thats what I think.

thats my normal thinking but, its not everyday you can get you money back in full for your chip mobo and GPU...i feel i have to take advantage of this opp...but i dont know how...

im pondering the Nforce4 ultra...cheap mobos (if they come out soon) but the GT is still crazy....mabey a SLI board and 2 6600GTs, there priced nice.... and ought to preforme onpar with my APG 6800GT..

True. I would contemplate the NForce4s, but the price would be the only thing holding me back. Even though you would be getting a lot of money for what you have now, it would still require a considerable investment (of money) to get all of what you wanted. Mind you, with that sort of kickass system (NF4, SLi'd 6600GTs) the money you spend would probably be worth it.
 
really if i got Nforce4 SLI and some 6600GTs im only looking at the extra price premium of a SLI mobo...should be under 220 i guss? the rest, CPU and pair of 6600Gts , would be freebies?

got any links to how well the pair will do compared to a singel 6800GT AGP? another probelm is overclocking....its going to take alot to please me on that because of my current setup 1 gig TCCD running 262Mhz 2.5-3-3-7 with a 2.62Ghz CPU...

the SLI board will prebely have to be the DFI SLI to keep my overclocking side happy...
