Hey,

Im buying a saphire radeon 9800 pro 256mb

heres my real question.

I was going to buy the atlantis one for 310$ then buy the zalman cooler and a zalman fan... this will cost me around 345$ off new egg. Here

Or I can go with the sapphire radeon 9800 "ultimate" which has a zalman already, and all I would have to do is add the fan.. this will cost me around 333$ ill save money and the effor of putting the zalman cooler on the card. Here

is there any diffrence between these 2 cards??? im not seeing any but maybe some one else out there knows!

thanks
-Rick

The sapphire in the first picture is actually on a 9800XT PCB and can be flashed to run at 9800XT speeds!

The one w/ Zalman is on an actual 9800Pro pcb w/ DDRII ram..

I would suggest getting the first one since it has DDR 1 memory that supposedly overclocks better and can be flashed to 9800XT speeds and may also have a temp sensor.. which is a good thing :p

if it is using hynix memory then it is using ddr2 rated at 2.5 or 400mhz i can hit 385.
