Is this a joke?

Of course the 9800 pro...
from what ive read, the 9600xt can reach very high oc speeds.
im proablly going with HIS 9800pro 128, just wanted to get some feedback about the 9600xt running sooo fast (from what ive heard/read)

from everything that i read if you have a 256bit 9800pro, sometimes even a 9800se and the right pcb, you can just flash a xt bios to it and it works. but ill find out in a few days when i get my card in to try it out on.

well a 9800pro destroys the 9600XT, not matter how much its overclocked.
and to flash the 256mb 9800pro to XT, you need better cooling, and a bios update.
but for $200 you can get a nice 128mb 9800pro.

Thanks for the help guys. I dunno wtf i ws thinking about the 9600xt. some benchmarks on some site, and a lamah tellin me xt is better, o well :)

Now witch 9800 to get ...
at first i wanted the HIS 9800pro 128.
now im thinking a good 9800 256 (like he said, with a decent pcb) and a bios upgrade.

you dont need to get the 256mb version, you need the 256bit version. what i mean by that is that they make a 2 different versions of the 9800, one with 128bit memory interface and one with a 256bit interface. you want the 256 one. getting the 128mb version over the 256 is fine because its shown that the extra 128mb does not add very much to performance.

this one should be good for modding, if someone else could correct me if in wrong cause im not 100% sure.
