IE not saving History logs... Any ideas?

My IE has not been saving any surfed URL's to history even though its set to do so. When checking the History, its all just blank.

I've changed the 'clear history' setting to 30 days even but no luck. Also, after a system restart, already-clicked-links (purple) become blue again as if I've never clicked them before.

Any ideas on why this is happening? Its been like this ever since I re-installed my OS a few months ago. Just never really got around to troubleshooting it till now. Kind of annoying. Thanks!

And no, switching to Firefox is not an option!

Nope, no tweaking software or surf blockers or anything like that... It started happening pretty much right after a fresh install of the OS....

Its not really a big deal, but pretty annoying. Everytime I try to find a site I remember surfing a day ago or whatever, I can't find it!
