i didnt know where to put this, so i put it in worklog as it will turn into one soon enough.
i've been thinkin and thinkin and thinkin bout the right idea to base a case mod around. mods based on games like hl2 and d3 have been done to death. biohazard, nuclear, and the like have been done before. for a while, i was thinkin bout something w/ a western setting, John Wayne style!, and i was also considering dinosaurs.
they havent been done, but maybe they werent done for a reason
even if i did go w/ one of those ideas, it would take a lot of time to figure out what to w/ it!
so last night/this morning, it came to me! how could i be so blind? it was my favorite show growin up, and it was my favorite action figure as a young boy. G.I. JOE!!!!!
there are so many things i could do!
problem is, i wouldnt know how to balance it out. i mean, how could i do joe vs. cobra on ONE case? it would prolly be better to put it all joe or all cobra, but that wouldnt do the joe universe justice. it was all about the conflict between the two of em. the fight for justice! now i'm considering doing one case dedicated to cobra, and one case dedicated to joe.
it would be cool to mount some turrets on top of both cases like if they are ready for action. i could make the joe case like a jet or plane or something, and i could make the cobra case like a big huge tank.
that way, if i ever get tired of the cases, i could actually play with my joes again!
the work on this project prolly wont start till the summer, but i can work and plan on this for a full 6 months, and hopefully i can make it as big and epic as Crimson's doom 3 case. that's how huge i want this project to be.
what i need now, and the reason why i made this thread, are your suggestions. any input or ideas you can give me to put into this project would be much appreciated!
