Ok so this is my plan..........
Im trying to put leds / el wires on the side of my case (the one with the motherboard to it) To spell out "Krilikz". Now heres where i think im going to run into problems. Since i will be cutting out the side of my case i will need something in between the open slots and the outside world so the leds wont get damaged. Thus i will use acrylic......but since i have never messed with acrylic before im not sure of its thickness. There is not much room in between the side of my case and the motherboard bracket. Any suggestions on what i can do

Edit now that im looking into this....Are el wires coated with like plastic or something?? If thats the case then ill just end up cutting out the incisions of the case and then glue them in.
