I've been told that if you have your CD-ROM as your Primary IDE Channel Master instead of your boot HDD it makes your performance drop. Is this true? Also I have my HDD running via S-ATA, but in the settings it's configured as the Third IDE Channel Master. Is there a way I can flip it around to primary? Or how would I boost my performance with it?
