Icons unable to delete

My friend has icons on her desktop, "Poker" and other random crap shes never heard of/done before. I believe it was spyware, I told her to do the usual, run adaware and search and destroy but nothing worked. She can't drag them, she can't move them, she can't delete them.

Any help? She's whinning and it's annoying...
