And a tube of Arctic Silver...mine has to be 7 years old by now. $1432.56 shipped. I could have probably saved a few bucks here and there parting it out through other vendors but over the years Newegg hasn't failed me once *knock on wood*

Thanks to you guy's that helped me make my decisions.....at least I supupose a thanks goes out lol Some of the suggestions cost me more money but I know it will be a better build because of it. I wasn't going to purchase a new power supply until a few suggested I needed to. I figure I can still sell my PC Power and Cooling unit on E-Bay. I was going to purchase a HAF-X but was swayed by suggestions for other cases and I settled on the unorthodox Raven 02. I now need to find a place off the floor that will fit this 25" long behemoth!

So jealous, I decided to wait until next year to make the leap from my Q6600. The wife had a veto to use =P
 
Hm, that's a pretty interesting case. I know Silverstone makes some solid hardware, though. You'll have to let us know how the build goes!

My current pc is a Q6600 as well. My Nforce 680i motherboard was dying a slow painful death so I figured I was doing the right thing by putting it out of it's misery. lol As for the wife's veto powers.....my wife already used her veto when we purchased our car. She wanted a Ford Edge and I wanted the last Pontiac G8 GT GXP left in the state....I figure she owes me this upgrade and another 4 or 5 :p

I will let you guy's know how the build goes with that case. I'll be selling my Voodoo Rage F1 case now also. Might help defray some of the cost of this upgrade.
