Not sure if this belongs here but I'm having a major problem. My computer just started freaking out. It wouldn't open anything and if it did It would open about 8 of them. I finally got norton open and scanned but nothing came up. It seems that it stopped when I got task manager open and its running fine now with it closed.(task manager) I'm not sure how many task I had running before this but now its telling me I have around 40...is that normal? What should I do?

I tried rebooting and it did something like a reboot but different....the screen went blank and then it started beeping over and over and over. I had to hit F10 for system recovery and it went back to windows without fixing anything :( I'm so lost, confused, pissed, and everything else right now :(
 
if i was you i would pee on my computer and set it on fire to get rid of all the evil it had inside... naw but seriously try to back up what you can and just pull a format with a problem like that, looks like a virus and or software issue, it was working fine before right, just pull a format and see what happens from there... if does not solve problem check your ram, and cpu
