is this a good lcd to get. i will be plaing games and stuff like UT2k3 and others and i'm concerned about ghosting. do i have anything to worry about

Well, I just ordered my first LCD (NEC 1760NX) and it will be here tomorrow. But after doing so much research, I believe anything higher than a 20ms response time is too high for fps games. You'll have too much ghosting. I could be wrong, as I am just going on the MANY posts I have read.

Good luck in your search. I was waiting for a Samsung 172x w/ a 12ms response, but my crt just died and forced my hand too early.

I wouldn't buy it the response time sucks and the return policy blows for bad pixels. You want good gaming LCD start with a 16ms response of any size.
