I hate this new Java

Is there a place to get a older, smaller Java Plug-in for ie 6.0? The one I downloaded from Sun is freaking 107mb and it doesn't even god damn displace the stuff correctly. Any help would be appreciated :)

EDIT: The version is called: j2re-1_4_2_03
 
You sure? I just went to Sun's site and it was 14.5MB for the offline install.
 
No that is the same one. After you install it, the damn thing just expands 1000% :mad:
 
Same sh1t here. Mins after my fresh install, I installed it and it could no load a single applet, after waiting for a min., the web site said: "Enable your java..."
I hate it.
I'd appreciate a link to older version too.

java is the worst programming language ever, everything is fuckign pointers

java is easy to program in but its slow as molasis in the winter. Java is for toasters and smart toilets its doomed to be a sub par programing language. Try installing Oracle 8i 500 megs turns out to be 3.4 gigs after install. Java = teh suck

To the comment of java being for toaster and smart toilets, have you ever ran Netware's java console local or remotely? Man that would be funny you hear the tolit flush but it doesn't remove your log for like 10 minutes later LOL I'll look for a link I know that the new one should be working, I had to load it to run the Jconsole for VNC
 
If you're looking for the basic Microsoft VM, you can get the build 3809 full install here, and the build 3810 update at:

nothing wrong with sun java..... it is your browser i would question.

Move to a real browser and be happy.

i dont, i dont like their stats system that much anyway... i go to the extreme overclockers site and the archnid or whatever

or i could just go to

http://folding.flecom.net/stats.html

and see all my stats and [H] stats :D
 
Sun JRE... 21MB installed (not latest version but is similar on latest version on another PC) all works fine with IE6

I don't like java for applets in web pages but for some stuff I quite like it, particularly J2ME on my mobile.
