ive got anywhere from 300 - 500$ to spend on a monitor. im just looking for good image quality for gaming. i dont do any video editing or anything that demands a good monitor other than gaming. ive got a radeon 9800 and i believe that has dvi. but i dont know too much at all about displays. crt, lcd? low heat, and good image quality are my primary interests. space consumption is secondary.

if anybody knows any good monitors in that price range for my pc... id love to hear em. links to any monitors u suggest are also very appreciated. thanks

I just got a NEC-Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 930SB 19" from Dell for $287 -- probably one of the best CRTs I've seen in my life. Only drawback, no DVI for you.
