my father is going to paint my new computer case inside and out.

...he knows how to spray paint....but he's cheap. ><:

Any thoughts on what colors I should go with?



Was thinking orange on the outside but not sure what to go with inside.
Anyone painted a Kandalf LCS and has some photos of how it turned out
or advice on what color/paint not to choose?
 
... you know you don't HAVE to get your case painted...
 
A dark grey looks very nice with orange... Actually, the grey above this sentence... from this forum!
 
Get him a cheap case to try first, I would not let him touch such a thing of beauty as you have now.
 
yeah he is going to do a test on my old antec case.
...and no orange. :(

None of the auto stores around here have PlastiKote / House of Kolor Tangelo Pearl.
So, we picked up Duplicolor Metalcast Smoke for the interior and
Duplicolor Mirage Ice paint kit for the outside.

Anyone have any advice beyond whats in the various painting guides or have
used these paints before and can tell me what to expect from them if done properly?

We live in arizona so the tempature won't go below 55F or so and
we are going to use some high powered lamps to heat up the garage a little.

Also, if anyone has already painted a Kandalf LCS case. How hard were the front
metal doors to paint? They are rather shiny and I'm guessing they need a lot
of sanding. But, wanted to ask so I might have an idea of what I'm in for.
