For those of you with a Hydor L30 in your cooling system, please post a link to pics of how you adapted the pump to your tubing.

I just got most of my water cooling supplies but something seems to be missing. When I opened up my Hydor L30 the pump was in there but it did NOT have the fittings for either the top or bottom.

Below are the pics of what I did not get in the box.

Were these suppose to be included in the box? Or are they something extra.

Please let me know, Thanks.

hmm, i dont remember if my L20 came with those. if it did I didnt use em and i have no leaks at all

Where did you get the fittings for the pump then? It has to have some sort of fitting to the tube to connect to the pump.

i just used normal hose clamps.

They came with the pump
You can pick some up if you're too strapped for time to RMA it... 1/2 NPT fittings at home depot. I'd get nylon (plastic) ones. At my Home Depot, they're in the sprinkler section (plastic ones) directly behind the brass/normal barbs (plumbing section). 1/2" NPT --> 3/8 or 1/2 (whatever it is you're using). Good luck!

Remember, use teflon tape to seal the threads and you should have no problems. The blue screw things are a pain in the ass anyways, i just hose clamp them down, more secure, IMO. Those blue things, although a good idea, do not hold the hose down securely. Furthermore you need 1/8" walled hoses for the blue screws to even fit over. Out of the question for clearflex/tygon/thicker tubing.

Ya, I just got a new L30 and it came with those. But I'm just using some nylon hose clamps over the tubing. No way those blues fittings would fit on mine.

Mine didnt come with the blue screw downs or the black fittings. Looks like to home depot I go.

Thanks

I got TYGON and it holds great with the blue things. Not sure why it wouldn't? It has a good compression fit.
