I put together a PC for my nephew, it has an A10-5700 and it's crossfired with a gigabyte 6670 (1gb ddr3) LINK and I'm wondering how I should set the ram. This is all old equipment, I didn't buy these for him. he doesn't play the latest/greatest games or anything. He'll just play games that are free downloads mostly. The PC has 8GB (2x4gb 1866) RAM and it's currently set to share 2gb. I was thinking that ram may get more use in the system than set aside for gaming which he'll rarely do. Do you think 512mb/1gb would be a better setting? It isn't like he's trying to play BF4 or anything. The monitor is 1920x1080. Thanks for your help/recommendations.
