• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I keep reading that one can enable multi-rail mode in Corsair Link, but none of the several pretty through reviews say word one about this being anything but a single rail PSU.
What's the deal? It doesn't matter either way to me but I'd like to know.

The software vs hardware based bit was confusing me.
Way happy with this power supply though..

If it's hardware based, you cannot change the values at which it would shut down. Since it is hardware based, it will not fail unless one of its components fail.

If it's software based, you can change it. Software can sometimes be buggy and unreliable.

It's more complicated than that, but from an end-user standpoint, that's really all that matters.
