HTT + Multiplier question

if, with HTT mult at 4, I max out at around 250 (proc maxes out at 247), is there any point to try turning the HTT divider to 3, the proc multiplier to 9 (instead of 10), and running the system at 275? I've got it running here right now w/o the memory (I just put the memory on a huge divider), is it even worth it to take the time necessary to find a stable ram configuration ?
