I'm thinking of building a HTPC that will also function as my nas/downloader/stream-server.
My cpu choice is i3 2100T, would love a small case that can fit 4-6 or even 8 3.5" drives. No need for ODD, mini itx or similar would be perfect, basically looking for a nas like case that i can stick a 2600T and a mobo in. Has anybody seen anything like that? No need for room for a vid card but a small sata controller would be nice.
I think this might me a shot in the dark.

I just set up my FD Define Mini last night -> http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1038385522&postcount=210
It currently has 4 hard drives and an OS SSD up in the 5.25 cage. I'll be adding 2 more HD's for a total of 6, and I'm debating on buying a 3x 3.5 to 2x 5.25 giving me a total of 9 and use a USB CD ROM Drive. The case isn't small though, even with the "mini" name. It is slightly smaller than my old Antec 300.

I think the q25 looks great so far, it claims it has 2.25 bays, and says 7 3.5 (5 of which are on hot swap backplane) i just cant seem to visualize where teh other bays are from the photos on new egg. Awesome suggestions guys.

Aside from the Q25's 5x 3.5" hot swap bays, the Q25 has a piece of raised metal with mounting holes that is attached to the bottom of the case. This drive mount piece has room for 3x 2.5" drives or 2x 3.5" and 1x 2.5" drives. (2x 2.5" and 1x 3.5" is also an option.)

If you were to use a large video card, then the bottom drive mounts would be useless, but this will not be the case in your setup.

Here is a link from the Lian Li page: http://lian-li.com/v2/tw/product/upload/image/pc-q25/q25-22.jpg

Also, it is difficult to see in the image, but the drives are still mounted using rubber grommets, just like the hot swap bays.

Thanks every one some awesome suggestions here. I wish they made the q25 in white, i cant stand how every case has the standard black color, and everything else is rare/custom or at a very high premium. Black it is for me.

It's all supply and demand. We used to have to pay a premium for black when white and off-white colors were more common.

There isn't enough demand for white currently to offset the additional supply costs.
