HS install question

I got these paste pads instead of the actual paste, i used them before and worked fine but never used them on newer CPUs. question is, do i just use one right in the middle of the CPU? There little like 1x1 squares
Goin to be used on a 5000+ BE SPU and a stock AM2 5200+ HS/F
