Hello everbody, I'm doing some little upgrades to my crappy old pc, and I need some help. What I really need to know is that will this:
http://www.uploadfile.info/uploads/d7235d336d.jpg (I blocked out the serial and stuff, don't be offended, I just don't know if they are useful for anything) (oh, and this comes from a HP a230n)
power my pc after I upgrade from a BFG 6200oc to a AIW x800xt?
Specs:
2800+ @2.08GHz stock
2 IDE HDDs
[BFG 6200oc] to a [AIW x800xt]
1 cd drive
1 dvd+rw/cd-rw drive
1 soundblaster live 24bit
1 modem (pretty much unused, can remove)
1 floppy, 1 memory card reader, 2 sticks ram, and a couple 80mm fans.

My thoughts are -->no. But please give me any thoughts you may have on the subject.

Now, assuming my thoughts are correct, I have 3 options:
1. Get a less power hungry card.
2. Get a totally new power supply.
3. Get a second cheap power supply to use at same time on different things.
(IMPORTANT: I'm in teh Canada)

So with #1, I think the 7600gt is less power hungry? Is it less enough for me to not need a power supply upgrade?

With #2, I was looking at this and at this (this looks like overkill, and I heard bad things about that brand, but you're the experts :) )
Any other thoughts are very welcome. About $75 CAD is the absolute maximum I want to pay too. And if I do get a new one, there will likely be problems with it fitting. It's tight in there already, but I think I could squeeze things in with a little case modding. The current psu is about (I'll do inches for you :)) 5.75'x5.5'x3.5'

With #3, is that a good idea? I mean I'd probably have it like sit on top of the pc, and cut a hole for the wires or something, and either have it power the mobo, or the peripherals(sp). I dunno. ANY advice here is very welcome too.

hmm thats lots of questions :p
If you want more info about anything, just ask and I'll do my best.

Thanks a lot in advance

Sorry, I made it to second page, and I need help :(

Sorry for all the questions...

Awesome! Thanks for the replies guys :)

So I definitely need a new psu? Ok.

I supplied tigerdirect links before because that was where I was planning on getting the vid card from, but now they no longer carry it... So I'll be getting it from ncix (and for like $40 cheaper too) So now I need to know what's a good one I could get from there.
So is this one any good?

It looks like it would handle what I want it to, I think? It doesn't have to be spectacular, just sufficient.

Thanks
