Got my LP3065 yesterday. Unfortunately it's buzzing.
The sound is coming out of the vents on the rear (left and right) and is
clearly audible even in a distance of 1-2 meters.
And no, it's not a problem with my environment, my other displays are dead silent.
Can't say if only my unit shows this fault or if the LP3065 series is generally broken.
Anyone else has experiences with this display ?

Anyway, this buzzing was a clear showstopper for me, a display has to be
silent. I returned the display immediately.

P.S.: has someone an HP contact link so that I could address this issue ?
(couldn't find one on the HP homepage).

this is the 2nd case in such a short while that it happens to the HP. I'm very surprised. Read the other thread on this problem. Someone from Sweden has the same problem.

It seems like doing a warranty exchange is your only option

i have my lp3065......*measures*....about 2 feet from my face.....lol no really. And I don't hear any buzzing. I've been turning on and off the monitor to see if I hear any difference at all and there isn't any. No buzzing here.
And if I'm this close to the monitor and I don't hear anything from it then it must be ok.
Guess I was lucky?

I had the same problem and just send my back :(, I´m beginning to think that all large monitors has this problem more or less, maybe the Apple Cinema series with a external power supply and completely closed case is better ?? I don´t think these sounds are audiable in a store, only in your home environment. I have not seen any monitor maker comment on this, when having problems with my Dell monitors they refused to acknowledge the problem at all.

I haven't read any "buzzing" messages about the Apple Display so far (and I googled
quite a lot to find them :). I didn't order the Apple because it's panel is not up to date.
But as I've read in a german forum Apple will upgrade to the same panel used
in the LP3065 and the upcoming Dell 3007wfp-hc. I expect the Dell to have
the same buzzing probability as the current 3007wfp seems to have, so
I'll wait for the next-gen Apple and will give this one a try ....
