HP LP2475w flickering issue?

I just bought a new LP2475w from Amazon and it looks great in Windows... but for some reason in TF2 in certain areas it flickers, it looks like the backlight is flickering. I can stand perfectly still and it looks like a CRT would at a low refresh rate, almost as if the backlight was turning on and off as the screen refreshed.

I've google'd and only seen a single similar report of someone saying CS:S was flickering... same game engine, so I'm not sure if it's related. In TF2 it only seems to happen in darker, bue/grey areas. Only other game I've had a chance to check is Dawn of War II, and it looks perfect, as does everything I've seen in Windows so far, so I'm a bit puzzled.

I even tried taking a screenshot of a particularly bad area, and I don't get any flickering while looking at it in Windows.
 
No, but my older monitor didn't do this. It's kind of minor and I can't get anything else to do it... I might just live with it. Maybe it is just the game and my older one just didn't show it or something.
 
Try different settings inside the game, turn off V-Sync or turn it on. Try changing the AA settings and filtering that might made a difference.
