I'm disassembling a DV9700 in order to replace the fan. I've gotten to the point where I take the top cover off, but it seems to be stuck. On the center, inside, either above or at the touchpad it refuses to detach.
Anyone familiar enough with this, or other HP models, to tell me if its most likely that HP glued it, or if there's some trick the Maintenance and Service Guide fails to mention? AFAI can tell, all the screws have been removed.
