being a pfSense 10Mbit router w/ 768MB-1024MB 168-pin PC133 SDRAM?

There are five servers on the network, two that which serve as very low-end webservers, and 6 to 7 workstations on the network. Internet traffic will be going through this server.

You could remove a CPU and you'd still be overpowered for only 10megs of traffic.

How about 100mbit? I think we'll be going with one of these though, after all.

Back in the day I used a Pentium II-300Mhz as a 100Mbit router using FREESCO as the software.

Fits on a 1.44MB floppy but can also be intalled on a hard drive.

Worked great even 10 years ago. A whole lot of fixes and new functionality has been added since then.
