Hello all:

I have two 74GB Raptors and one 400GB Seagate all SATA that I am looking to put together. However, I want to put the two raptors in a RAID-0 array. I have heard that you need to load SATA and RAID drivers in order to get the WinXP setup to recognize the drives. Which drivers do I load first? Do I format all the drives first? Do/should/can I create multiple partitions on the RAID array and/or the Seagate drive?

Thanks.

You should be get into your raid controller via bios, you make the raid, then when installing windows you press F6 and when prompted put the floppy with the sata/raid drivers in and you're done. If sata and raid drivers are different disks, just press "S" to specify an additional device and stick in the floppy, all explained once you press F6 at install
