Hello, [H] Members. I have a GTX 295 and a 9800 I wanted to use for physx, but I'm having some trouble because I don't know the right process to go about setting them up. One of the 295's GPUs shows up in Device manager, as well as the 9800, but I can only output to a display connected to the 9800. I have the EVGA x58 SLI motherboard and the latest 190 drivers from nVidia. I also have the 295 in the first x16 slot, and the 9800GT in the second. Before installing I ran the nvidia uninstallers and nasty file remover in safe mode to get rid of all old nVidia stuff.

What am I doing wrong here? Thanks in advance for help.

Try completely removing the video drivers, take the 9800GT out of the PC, and set everything up with just the GTX295. Once you've got the drivers installed and have your monitor connected to the 295, then put the 9800GT back in and try setting that up for PhysX.

Ok. Trying that right now. Thanks.

Well. I think I know why the 295 wasn't working. It's ANOTHER FRICKING DEFECTIVE 295. This is ridiculous. They just sent me this one. I have tried it in two different computers with two different PSUs. The green light comes on, and that's it. My x58 motherboard gives the video card beep error. My wife's Foxconn mobo just perpetually resets itself. No blue light ever comes on for the 295.

I can't believe they sent me another pice of sh**. This is REALLY PISSING ME OFF. Any other video card works just fine on these computers, but not this 295. I'm on hold with BFG right now. You pay $500 for a video card so you can go through hell and be without functionality more often than with.
