I just ran my virus checker and found my c:\windows\system32\keyhost.exe is infected and can't be "cleaned" so I have to replace it. My question is:

How do I do that? Boot is safe mode, remove it, then reboot?

I also can't figure out how to extract it from the CD to simply replace it.

Any help would be appreciated. I did a search and found others had issues with something called "golden palace casino" and the keyhost. I do get a golden palace page when I got yo Gamespot to see reviews, but normally I can just try selecting the site again and it works.

Oh, the name of the virus is: startpage.k

Thanks for any advice.
