I'm running a dual-boot system. Drive 1 has WinXP Pro and a partition with my files, and drive 2 has Fedora Core 4 on it.

Is there any way I can make my drive 1 visible in linux?

Well, you can get safe read-only NTFS in linux now; writing to NTFS is still not ready for prime-time.

That's all I want to do is read it.

I basically just want to have access to my images and multimedia (songs, videos, etc.)

Make sure you have NTFS support loaded into your kernel (most modern distro's do this just fine)

"mkdir /winxp"
edit your fstab and include a line like this:
Code:
/dev/hda1 /winxp ntfs users,owner,ro,umask=000 0 0
Then issue the "mount /winxp" as root and you should have read-only access to your NTFS partition. Please change /dev/hda1 to whatever your NTFS partition is for your particular machine.
