How to fix black level?

How can I fix the black level on my A04 2407WFP without putting it on a very high brightness setting using my NVIDIA video card's ForceWare driver's Color Correction menu?

Click on "3D Product Tour", then on the window that opens, click on "Connectivity", then "USB". The flap opens and you should be able to see the USB port there, but on my 2407WFP, unless I set the brightness extremely high in ForceWare, that USB port is not visible / it's all black in the area the flap was covering.

I've messed with all the settings in the monitor's menu and couldn't get the black level fixed.
