How to find ip/subnet/gateway?

Reason I'm asking this is b/c of my cable isp I have is not a static ip. I'm moving into an apt next month with the same isp and the cable modem is going to be in my room with everyone else on wireless. Problem is my stupid netgear router cannot autodetect my ip/subnet/gateway. I have to manually type it in every time when the ip changes. I know I could go to whatismyip.com everytime, but occasionally I have seen an subnet that is not 255.255.255.0 and a gateway ip where the last digit is not 1.

So is there a way in OSX where I can find that out such as the dos cmd "ipconfig /all" option?

Thanks.

Doesn't the network control panel show this?

I remember when I connect at school, the IP address and router pop up when they are recieved under the Airport section TCP/IP

Blue Apple > System Preferences > Network > double click on the device you want the settings for > TCP/IP Tab > ??? > PROFIT.

If you want to do it the ahrder/geekier way there is always Terminal -> ifconfig :D
