how much heat can the p4 478 sockets take?
today i ran up my processor up to 160*F jus for the hell of it. and i smelled something plastic burning and i taught it might be that leveler that you pull down to the lock the cpu down, or the white cpu seat thingy. can they melt? if so how much heat can they take? :confused:
 
I really doubt it would melt the plastic on the socket.
