how long between changing water

i have gone as long as 6 months, before i tore the pc dow for upgrades;)

how long do you usually go, and whatsin it ?
 
Been running my water cooled rig for 2 1/2 years now and have never had to change the water in it... Running Distilled water and Zerex :D
 
I never seem to go more than a few months without tearing it apart for one reason or another. I'm going to take it apart in a day or 2 again to install a different fan shroud and change some of the brass barbs out with high flow plastic ones while I'm at it............. :D
 
I end up draining my system for one reason or another about every 6 months. I run water and zerex.
 
2.5 months since my first dive, and my water+Zerex hasn't dropped at all. The only thing that bugs me is the stupid tiny bubbles that circulate through the loop. Maybe too much flow for my res to collect the air.

If I get a job in Calgary again in January, my loop will be drained for the trip. Just in case. ;)
