Im looking to make my system more quiet with a moderate overclock of

Q6600 --> 3ghz
2900 Pro --> XT

Would the reserator provide sufficient water cooling for my CPU & GPU or should i build my own system?

What would be the difference in temps between a reserator and one build myself for around the same price (£165).

Thanks,
Chris.

the reserator might get you decent temps, but they usually corrode, i would stay away from anything zalman in the water cooling business, so yes, you would be better off piecing together your own system

the reserators are meant for minimal noise and they do that very very well. however they are not meant for performance. its really meant for those few who want total silence (or as close as possible) but don't care much beyond some rather light overclocking.

for what you get vs. what you pay i'd piece a system together with different parts for sure. i found the for sale forum here great for getting those odds and ends too:)
