How fast to expect SATA

I have one Seageate ST3500630AS (500GB SATA II) HDD on a DFI Ultra-D. I am getting 85/55 according to ATTO. What should it be.

Where the heck did the search button go on this forum?:confused:
 
What are the units? What does HDTune report about the drive? I'd expect STRs around 75 MB/s and seek times in the neighborhood of 13-14 ms.
 
If I remember, write was 45 read was 85. Normal I guess. I didn't look at the numbers you stated.
 
What units are those? Oranges per year? Really, "45" means nothing to me. 45 MB/s would be kind of low, but then, ATTO isn't very accurate in terms of raw disk speed. IIRC it uses Windows caching, which makes the results somewhat less than useful. HDTune and HDTach are less prone to this, try one of those.
 
I will try those. LOL oranges, well anything but MB for write and read wouldn't make sense would it. If you know of a brand that does GB let be know, I want one.;) Actually HD Tach showed similar numbers.

Edit: I see by my original post it is 55MB and 85MB
