Does the Logitech X-530 just use the same input as my crappy 2.0 speakers? I only have integrated audio, so until I get a sound card, I want it to atleast work with my integrated crap. Also, will it use that 1 green labled cable so that I can plug this directly to an mp3 player? I looked at their site, and it says its compatible with an mp3 player, but I just wanna know how it works.
 
yes, it uses analog audio jacks. The ones you would commonly find on a cd player, sound card, or MP3 player.

 
does it have separate inputs for center, rear and front channels, or just the one jack?
 
it has 3 seperate jacks. So if you only have an SPDIF jack, you'll need a get a sound card to make it 5.1. I'm running into the same issue.
 
what is spdif? I just got a turtle beach catalina 7.1 card.. but don't know what spdif is... does this card have it?
