How do you test for Dead Pixels?

My 2405FPW just arrived! :D

Now I have just used Dead Pixel Buddy and didn't see (together with my wife) any dead pixel. Does it mean that I have perfect one then?

What about this "Backlight Bleed" effect? How do I test/see it?

From what I've read "backlight bleeding" is when the light used in the LCD is bleeding out light from behind the LCD so if you have the LCD a few inches from the wall you will see the light from the LCD shining out from the grills of the back of the LCD, which it isn't supposed to do. That's just from what I've read, maybe other 2405/2005 owners can tell you what it is. I explain it like this because I just went to a friends house the other day and saw his 2005fpw and he explained backlight bleeding to me in like a quick 30 second version of it.
 
Really? That is the first time I head that. I thought the backlight bleed referred to light "seeping" through from the back panel TO the front of LCD, hence the "warm hot-spots". I haven't seen anything on mine, but its black isn't 100% black, maybe very dark grey black (but even all around the surface of LCD). Is this normal?
