How do I remove the front chassis of a standard atx??? It doesnt say in my manual. Its a cooler master

you should post what model you have
look for screws or tabs if you dont see any try to pull on the bezel lightly it might just clip on

I thought coolermasters were designed so you could just grip the top and the bottom of the front fascade and pull GENTLY, it should come right off. Otherwise, there might be a couple of screws inside the case keeping it attached. I just keep thinking though that the case front should just come right off with a little pull.

Zero

look on the inside and do you see screws around the edges? if so unscrew them and pull it off. if not take a flat screw driver and in the crack put it in there and pry it off.

Every case I've seen has little taps you push to unclip the front bezel. Coolermaster may be different.

Assuming it is the same as a Centurion 2 on the faceplate - remove the internal screws. Then grabbing the font bottom pull out on faceplate. There are some plastic pegs that help hold it on inaddition to the screws.

I have the same case, and it's kinda tuff getting the front off. You basically just need a couple flat screwdrivers to gently pry on each side. I just start at the top and work my way down until I can get my fingers in to pull it off. Just make sure you pull evenly on both sides and it'll come off.

The biggest deal about the Centurion 5, as far as Cooler Master are concerned anyway, is the tool-free nature of the chassis. The only time you'll need a screwdriver is to secure the motherboard, everything else, including getting into the case and installing hard disk drives and optical devices, requiring nothing more than deft fingers.
Here I've made a side by side display of the front bezel and the area of the chassis it attaches to. The stars show what I *THINK* are holding in the bezel. If I'm wrong, sorry, but I tried to help you. This is all based on reviews I found online... man I must need a life.

EDIT: And by the way, the floppy drive and hard drive covers require a screwdriver. So don't expect those to be quite tool free.

I have that case too, and the pictures above are correct. You just have to get it at the right angle and it snaps right off. Stand over it (so you're taller than it) and just pull at the upper right and left corners GENTLY, don't be afraid to use some force but don't pull too hard. You don't need to remove screws or anything inside to get the front off.

Be warned, I just tried to pull mine off again (haven't since I built the machine) so I could tell you where to pull, and I almost killed the front of my CD-RW, in the top drive bay. So yeah, um, be careful about that if you have a drive in there already.

Oh, and there are other places it's attached into, but get the top ones I mentioned off first, they're the easiest I think.

Again, I don't own the case, but I would suggest removing it left side first, then doing the right side. That's the way that most front bezels come off on other cases and it should keep the bezels on your drives from coming off.

I'm glad to know my pictures were correct. Took like twenty minutes of research Lol!

most cases are more or less the basic thing... look from screws inside the case on the bezel side.. unscrew all and then check for taps ALL over the bezel

shouldnt it be easy?... figuring out out to take something so simple apart shouldnt be that hard
