how do i post pics

well, first you'll need some sort of web hosting. (a place that can can actually "host" the pics for you on the internet.)

once you've found a host, you can either

A. click on the little yellow box under the "color" tab in when you're replying to a post. once you've clicked on the yellow tab that kind of looks like a postcard, you'll just enter the URL address in the space thats provided and that'll pretty much be it.

or

B. you can just put the "IMG" tags before and after the pic URL on your own. for example:

if the URL to your pic is something like "www.mypic.com/myself.jpg" (of course you wont use the quotes), then the "IMG" tags would be used like this (remember, dont use any quotes. I'm just using them to set an example.)

so the tags would look like this: "
myself.jpg
" -again, you wont use the quotes.

hopefully this answered your question.

Okay, here's another question on this same subject. I have posted pics this same exact way so why does everyone else's pic posts show the picture in their post but my post only shows the link? Is it just my personal view or does everyone else just see the link and not the pic?

Like here is an example
pic.php

Does everyone see the link or the pic? I only see the link

Hi,

We do not allow hotlinking, we provided the user with a link that looks something like this

http://www.free-image-hosting.org/pic.php?=3034949.jpg

But they decided to be cool and try to hotlink to

/061008064646892.gif

We provide links for you to send to your friends or post on message boards, when clicking on the link it will show the image. We do not provide hotlinks.

If you are the person that uploaded this file, you can go back to Free Image Hosting and your images will still show up in your "Previously Uploaded Files", simply copy the link and paste it where you need to.
free image hosting my ass

In response to "free image hosting my ass".....

It is free image hosting, just not free hotlinking....

hotlinking only allows people to use other peoples bandwidth, at the end of th eday someone has to pay for it, i.e. me.

So I provide free image hosting to those who dont mind viewing the picture on the page provided. i.e. http://www.free-image-hosting.org/pic.php?pic=6/16613140857.jpg

www.free-image-hosting.org is free, easy to use, and doesn't require registration, its great when you just need a photo uploaded quickly or want to post a link to a picture.

so yes, free image hosting, but no to your ass part.
