how can i tell if my p4 is using a costa-rica core, without taking off the cpu fan to look

reason being, my cpu fan is a real bitch to get off and on
 
thats where its manafactured

pentium 4 chips manafactured in costa-rica overclock more for some peculiar reason

I agree and disagree with you.

A) you did have a valid question.

B) you didn't need to be so crude about it...which is where his comment came from.

But I do agree that the ***k was not needed, but seeing as the [H] does allow for cursing it is permitted. No matter how much I don't like to see it.
 
Yes you must remove the heatsink, but not the heat spreader, and I know I am new here but robberbaron did not seam out of line.

I just thought he was saying that there was a pentium 4 core called Costa Rica and thought he was making some inane post. Go drink a bottle of chlorox.
