how big should a res be?

Is there a minimum size that a res should be? I'm thinking about WC'ng my p180, but I don't want a res in my drive bay.. I was thinking about putting it where the swift tech wc'd 180 puts it, where the tool/screw box is.

Res size does not matter since having more water in your loop is not going to give you better temps.

The best quality of a res is faster bleeding and connection options.

IMHO the swiftech mcres is the best simply because of how fast it bleeds.

Res size does not matter, the temperature of the water will equalize no matter what size res you have. As it was stated before, the two most important parts are how well the res bleeds and how well it prevents leaks.

I second the Micro res, especially for a case like the 180. I'm using a 190 right now, and the microres got rid of a whole lot of logistical headaches simply because of all the different places you can put it. Personally, I removed the entire upper HDD assembly including the plastic rails. Once you do that, you have several nice screw holes that can be used to mount the micro res on it's bracket and hold it out of the way of your vitals.

T-lines are great, but they don't bleed as fast as a mcres.

Filling and bleeding is such a pain in the ass with a t-line. Every WCed machine I build from here on out will have a reservior.
